Our multidisciplinary research focuses on the studies of ultrafast processes in organic molecules, supramolecular assemblies and nanostructured inorganic-organic systems induced by light. The innovative functionalities of these novel molecular devices and nanomaterials are studied by time resolved fluorescence and femtosecond-picosecond transient absorption techniques and provides a deep insight about the electronic and photodynamic processes governing the excited state behaviour of these photoexcited molecular compounds.
