Introduction to neutral Rydberg atom based Quantum Processor Unit hardware and laser requirements

Quantum computing has the power to solve numerous yet unsolvable problems, such as most efficient energy storage and distribution, or the molecule folding configurations. Different platforms can be used to realise quantum processor units (QPU). This presentation will present an introduction to the different platforms, with a specific focus on neutral atom based QPU, the underlying physics of cold atoms, and the role that high power single frequency laser have to play.
