Hello! I am Airi Nakamoto KATO, I belong to l’équipe Matière Molle & Biophysique (Soft Matter and Biophysics team), thématique T-In (Turbulence and instabilities sub-team). I am interested in the interplay of active matter and well-established soft matter concepts (interface, phase separation, wetting, pressure, interfacial tension). My Google site is here.

Activity-controlled matter.
Currently, I am working on a project of active interfacial drop.
I have worked on active matter experiments (Quincke rollers, bacterial turbulence, Janus particles) and passive soft matter (interfacial colloids with surface roughness).
