• modelling of light matter interaction in birefringent media and free space via fast Fourier transform beam propagation method (FFT-BPM) and propagation integrals.
• spin-orbit photonic interaction engineering of Bessel beams using uniaxial crystals
• beam shaping via unconventional refractive elements such micro-axicons with cusps created by means of 3D photopolymerization technique

Singular imaging

• scalar optical vortex coronagraphy using refractive spiral phase plates​
• development of vectorial optical vortex coronagraphy using liquid crystal topological defects
• high-charge vectorial vortex coronagraphy

Optomechanics and microfluidics

• microfluidic chip fabrication, surface treatment and in-chip elements fabrication (filters)
• microscopic mono-dispersed droplets generation via microfluidic chamber
• optical manipulation of chiral liquid crystal droplets via chiral light
